ANNOUNCEMENT!

I’ve decided to become a vegetarian! :)

If you followed my 46 Day Challenge you’ll know that for the past 46 days (ending yesterday) I’ve been a vegetarian. I realised today, when I ate meat and gelatine that I really don’t like eating that stuff anymore. I’m much happier and feel much healthier by just eating fruit and veg and other vegetarian friendly stuff.

So, today I decided for once and for all I’m going veggie. No turning back :) Delighted with my decision. Can’t wait to go back to it all tomorrow. I’m feeling all tired and lethargic today. Stupid meat. I do however refuse to be a preachy-veggie. Eat meat, don’t eat meat, I believe in the food chain and the circle of life so I haven’t some typical vegetarian agenda, I just think the vegetarian diet is superior health-wise :)

Weight Loss TV Shows

I said at the very beginning of this blog that I had created it primarily for me. I meant it. But sometimes I feel very alone in my struggles. I see programs on TV about people who are over 250lbs going on a journey to lose the weight that makes them so unhappy (and unhealthy) but what about the rest of us? What about someone who’s 150lbs or 140lbs or 130lbs? Why does nobody ever seem to find a solution to the struggle we suffer to achieve weight loss? I am miserable at the weight that I am. I want to drop weight but I keep losing motivation. I keep getting stressed and busy about the things that are going on in my life and I lose sight of my ultimate goal. Where is the TV show that inspires people like me? Why doesn’t somebody come film my journey to a healthy and happy weight, facilitating me with a nutritionist and personal trainer who knocks on my door when I’m about to sit down in front of TV? This is why it’s so hard to keep going. I’m not saying that I need someone standing by my side constantly because I don’t but I’m just saying that it’s a lot harder than I had ever thought it would be to lose weight and I’m downhearted.
