I could, without one shadow of a doubt, write one if not several books on losing weight, getting fit and eating healthily. But I don’t want it enough. There comes a point when I have to realise that life isn’t getting in the way of change, I am. Clearly I prioritise other things, such as a love of food and comfort over eating well and getting the exercise I need to look the way I want. I won’t kid myself anymore. This isn’t going to happen because I say it will, it will happen when I really and truly, to the far reaches of my subconcious, WANT it to.

I’m reevaluating this whole process. I’m rethinking my weight loss methods. I plan on coming back in the next few days with a better game plan. Sit tight.

Christmas Challenge: Day 6 & 7

Very unhealthy weekend. Chocolate, Biscuits and Jellies and Diet Coke and Pizza….I think that’s it….

So sue me. I enjoyed it and I went to the gym on Saturday morning so it wasn’t all bad.

It’s important to focus on the future though. Getting bogged down in my failings won’t help budge my pudge so…back on the horse or whatever. To Day 8!

Christmas Challenge: Day 5

Not really the day I had planned. No gym which means I only went twice in the last five days instead of 3 times. I have been doing squats and weights though…I had a pretty bad dinner of pasta. I made sure I enjoyed the heck out of it before shooting my alter-ego for making me do it! :/

Anyways, I’m gyming it tomorrow morning and I’ll blog a plan for the weekend after that! Last weigh in was yesterday morning at 138.6lbs and I’m hoping to get lower than 135 by the 25th but then again I don’t know if that’s attainable because of my muscle gaining aspirations but I’ll not cop out of trying nonetheless. <3

Christmas Challenge: Day 4

Did my squats. Ate a little more than planned but, sure, it was all healthy stuff (except for the 6 jaffa cakes…shhhh don’t tell my ass about that :/ eek) I did weights and dumbbells but not the gym - doing that tomorrow! :) Hurrah for day 4.

Christmas Challenge: Day 3

Day 3 is over! I actually can’t get over how great I am at this challenge haha! In all seriousness though, porridge for breakfast and dinner. I did my squats and some dumbbells, then had homemade veg soup for lunch, met my friend in Starbucks and got an americano, then I went straight to the gym, where I killed it and now I’m telling you all how happy I am! Hurray :) I like this feeling….

Christmas Challenge: Day 2

Day 2 is over :)

I did my 30 squats (and some dumbbell reps). I also went to the gym and I’ll be going again tomorrow! I had porridge for breakfast, I made soup for my lunch and at dinner time I went to the cinema so I ended up having popcorn and jellies and diet coke for that (don’t shoot me!) I’m happy enough with my progress. I haven’t had any major hiccups so far and that’s always a plus. Anyways, onwards to day 3!

Christmas Challenge: Day 1

Today is the first day of 20 for my Christmas Challenge and it was definitely a good start!

My plan for the next 5 days is to do 30 squats each day - which I’ve done, go to the gym three times (yet to do all three!), to drink lots of water and have porridge for breakfast and dinner.

Today I didn’t manage to get to the gym but I got a lot of study done which freed up some time so I will go tomorrow! I had porridge for breakfast and dinner just as I’d planned and a plain old sandwich for lunch. Besides that, I had a few jellies. I did my 30 squats after my dinner and I’m gonna do a 1 minute plank once I post this, just to be an over achiever ;)
